This little device is pretty wicked, allowing me to control my Behringer Truth studio monitors AND handle input from my mixer/turntables, guitar/amp, microphone, etc. In addition, I am wall-mounting a Samsung 40 1080p LCD, for various reasons. One of those being gaming (XBox 360), and also to have a bigger workscreen for web projects, audio work, the Seesmic Desktop application, which lets me monitor multiple twitter feeds and facebook, etc. Consider it the new man cave , but it's a functioning studio and home office as well. The point of all this is that I've really got no excuse for NOT putting out good music! A combination of factors including work and commuting contributed to that particular date and time not working out for me. Now, it is possible that I will step in for one-off shows when needed, but a weekly 2 hour slot was just too hard to pull off consistently. On a positive note I am finally rebuilding the studio proper with the intent to put out a few tunes by early next year. My focus will be primarily on the jazzier, mellow side of dnb but I'm not going to limit my production to just one genre.
